I first heard about Marisa and Sift Organizing by a coworker who couldn’t say enough good things about her and her work.. This was about a year ago and even with Corona we have not skipped a beat by going Virtual with our organizing sessions. As a matter of fact she is walking me through the steps of task management and task management tools. I am getting more done than ever.
Organizing was never my thing and when I met Marisa I was at a point in my life where I had tried to organize in every way you can imagine and failed. The first thing we worked on was organizing my 20 years plus of bins of paperwork and moved on to just about every room in my house including my downstairs workshop. Marisa not only is great at organizing but she studies your work habits, frequency of use, future use and current use to come up with a workflow to maintain the organization. She also has a great eye for design, especially functional design recommending the right products to buy to make it not only functional but pleasing to the eye.
Marisa has helped make my life and my family’s less stressful and my home streamlined. And she is teaching me how to maintain it! I highly recommend her and her services. You will be amazed.

“We would have ended up storing 10x the amount we did.”
We sold our house of 32-years and had less than 30 days till the closing period. Marisa and her team successfully coordinated what we were going to do with everything in the house - everything. Marisa was able to manage communication between our family members on what we should sell, donate, keep, and trash, as well as how to do it. Marisa found, booked, fully coordinated with both the movers and storage, AND she personally went to the long-term storage facility to ensure our items were properly taken care of. Without Marisa and her team, we would have ended up storing 10x the amount we did. Also, discussing amongst family members on what to do with sentimental items and everyday items is emotionally difficult when every family member has a different opinion. Marisa was the neutral party to help our family work through all the decisions. We have already recommended Marisa to close friends. Thanks again to Marisa and her team!

“I don't know what I'd do without her.”
I have been working with Marisa for several years now, with various projects and needs. She is unbelievably talented not only at the nuts and bolts of organizing (figuring out how to approach a space or system, what to keep, how to store, how the space will function best), but she is also very patient, never judgmental, and never pushes any particular decision or strategy on me. She is able to work within my comfort zone, while gently helping me to make the best decisions for my home and my life. I don't know what I'd do without her.

“Marisa is a miracle worker.”
Most recently I have taken advantage of Marisa's virtual sessions. Through a Zoom video call we were able to short through bins of clothes, clean out my entire closet, and set up a shoe storage system. My closet is now organized. I look forward to getting dressed every morning, knowing exactly where I can find different items. Marisa is a miracle worker. She is able to come up with creative solutions to transform any space. I've worked with her on organizing a basement, bedrooms, kitchen, office, family room, and entry way. Also, she's help me create systems for mail organization and to handle the mountain of paper that I used to accumulate. Regardless of the task or space that needs attention, she is thoughtful, kind, professional, and systematic in her approach to organization. I am always amazed with what she is able to accomplish in just 4 hours. She has brought a sense of calm, flow, and peace to my house that I didn't know was possible, but emerged once she was able to help me remove some clutter and create systems within my home. Marisa is the best in the business! I originally hired her to help me get my house ready for Real Estate photos to list my house. She was so excellent — intelligent, organized, lots of common sense, logistical thinking — that I continued to use her service to stage my house for open house (it sold in a day — thanks Marisa!)
